Question on o-rings / "injector insulators" for stock primary rail

Hi there, I have a question.
I have recently been doing some work on my fuel system. I had the primary injectors out for the first time since iv had the car (7 years or so).

Anyway, I removed the primary fuel rail etc, and figured I would replace the rubber o-ring type thing that seats into the intake manifold..

So, i ordered what I thought were the right parts from mazda but what I ended up with is not what I was looking for, but it got me thinking perhaps I was missing an o-ring all along.

Heres a pic I graffitied to explain what I mean (not my pic/fuel rail)

So basically, the o-rings I was trying to replace fit where the black lines are/seat into the intake manifold.
What I received is not correct, BUT it could fit on the lower part where I have drawn the red lines. Which made me think maybe I have been missing an o-ring all along?
Of course I may literally just have the wrong part.

Can anyone tell me if an o-ring/gasket only goes where the black lines are? or should there be an o-ring/gasket where the red line is as well?

It would also be really awesome if someone could help me out with the correct part number for the gasket/o-ring that goes where the black lines are.

thanks!

The bottom of the rail will rest against the diffusers.
