Question about Mazdaspeed GTC front bumper...

Hey, i've always disliked the GTC front end because of the smoke colored turn lamps and it had appeared to me that there was nothing the color of the body underneath the turn lamps. I had always seen pics like in the first two links below, but the i saw the pic in the third link below without the smoke turn lamps and does have a body colored panel below the turn signal. is there a body panel in the blue and grey cars or is there some reason for the discrepancy? THanks folks:

Good question. I didn't like the GTC for the same reason, but that third pic makes it look a lot better...

i think that those kits that don't have the smoke cover are copies of the original GT-C front. i'm looking at the 2002 mazdaspeed catalog and its got a very clear picture of the front which has a recess for the smoke cover that would be obvious if it was removed.

what do you guyz think about the Rspec front?? (attached). its still the same mazdaspeed quality with a slightly different appearence.

I think you could just paint the section underneath the turn lamp? And not put the the smoke cover over em?

I personally like the cover, specially on a black or red RX-7. It just matches the rear tail light design of the 7's. I kind of dislike the little opening on the sides

Anybody know what material is it made out of??? what about the replica??? If anybody knows let me know
My favorite picture of this Kits

The hood is a copy of the R-magic hood. Purchase from wholesale hyperformance. This was 2 years ago. They stop making them. I will be replacing the hood with a Mazdaspeed carbon fiber. I might be selling it in the new future. I will post more pics of my car later!

The replica bumper does not come with that smoke covers. The one you see on my website is a custom job done by the bodyshop. They make the covers for the customer. I don't offer them with the bumper.

Here is the unpainted one installed on on of our project cars:

As you can see, no covers.
