^Uhhh? Btw, the exhaust if far from crap...mine doesnt hit the frame, infact it fits perfect. And with a tip the size of a cat of course it hits the bumper....

Thanks, so that's the diameter of the "muffler" section right?

Pretty much, but it still has this one section that resembles a muffler, which is the diameter that I'm interested in.

Thanks guys!

90mm is the piping and the tip should be more like 120mm, which should make the canister somewhere like 150+ mm, but I'm just guessing there...

you got the hangers on the wrong way. thats why your exhaust hits...try flippin it and post up afterwards.

and also, the greddy ti is the best exhaust i have ever bought for any car. the quality of the welds is awesome. i paid 698 shipped from rx7.com. it came the next day (i live in texas).

As noted below you have to munipulate the hanger bracket around the canister to properly aline the muffler & tip to clear the bumper

I agree completely. I dyno'ed my car with my old M2 dual tip cat back. Then, with it still strapped to the dyno, I installed my GReedy Ti.

I measured a 10-12 rwhp increase over the M2 exhaust across the chart.

My only complaint is the huge rolled edge tip sticking out past my bumper. I ended up cutting the rolled edge off at a diagonal. Looks 100% better & doesn't stick out nearly as far. Looks smaller to.

It is a little loud at WOT, but I've had compliments that it sounds terrifying when I pass people during lapping days.

I was lucky enough to get my Greddy Ti when they first came out, they still had the unrolled lip, which looks so much better IMHO. Anyhow, amazing fit and finish, mine fits nice and snug, just below the bumper, super light weight, and the sound, WOW! Nice and deep, yeah its a bit loud, but thats what the volume **** on the radio is for. I'de like to add a Magnaflow in my midpipe to bring the volume down a bit in the cabin, and from what I've seen this will make the exhaust even deeper.

To answer the original question, just ran outside to take some measurements. Piping is 3" the Tip is 4.5" and the Canister itself is 6"

Or for our friends that use the metric system. The piping is 80mm, the tip is 115mm, and the canister itself is 155mm. Hope this helps

Could you by chance post a picture of your Ti? I would love to see the difference between the two! I’m assuming the rolled tip that you are talking about is the blue lip in the picture I posted above.

you probably saw this system, taken from www.rx7.com:

http://www.rx7.com/store/rx7/fdexhaust.html

RP Race-only Exhaust by Greddy

The ultimate exhaust, specifically built for the rigors of drag racing, featured on our own race car. Built to our specs by GReddy, this exhaust features 3.75" inside diameter construction throughout, a V-band flange for quick changes, standard 3" 2-bolt flange on the inlet side to ensure perfect fitment with any quality downpipe, and the highest flow of any exhaust system. This system also comes with a silenced mid-pipe with no catalytic converter. Note: this system is for off-road/racing use only.

Well mine still has the blue/burnt tip coloring, but its just a straight pipe, doesnt have the rolled lip at the very end like the new ones do. Sorry no pics as of now, if I get some batteries for the digi, Ill snap a few close up shots.

Yeah, thats how I have mine setup, muffler bracket nut is on the right/passenger side. I think this might be a issue with your DP or MP, not so much the exhaust.
