IN their instruction book they seem to have the 2 buttons confused. Hold down the mode button, I think, and it works. This is true in a few settings mentioned in their manual, they have the buttons backwards.
it works on mine. Push the select button for 2 seconds untill it says off, then imediately press and hold the select button for 2 seconds, while holding the select button for 2 seconds, press the menu button twice....if you wait more than 2 seconds to press menu twice, it will not work.
well thats no good . heh earlier it said 165 when i switched it from kpa to psi , the last peak boost was 165 and I have stock ecu and fuel management.... Good thing my motor is still chummin. Also what does it mean when it says -1 on the screen?

the - numbers are vacuum, otherwise it is boost. yes 165 would be 16.5...best be damned careful. I've noticed that mine reads a 1-1.5psi higher than my boost gauge. Not sure which is accurate, but I'd trust the profec vs a gauge, because the profec is digital, and is also reading from a larger feed line (which senses pressure and transition faster).
BTW< you can set the profect with warning levels for both high and low boost settings. For instance, you could set it to warn at 13psi (it turns red). You can also set it up to lower boost solenoid duty when warning is exceeded...for instance, if a setting of 50% solenoid duty gets you 13psi, you could have it warn at 13, and lower to 35% at that warning, which might drop you down to 10.

Well when i changed the screen from kpa to psi I cant figure out how to adjust the boost.... just gain, set gain, and gain warning. I guess mounting it in my glove box isnt as pimp as i thought. ( didnt want it to sit on steering wheel incase some idiot wanted to bust in my car) also when i start driving im getting boost results but after a few minutes it just says 0 on the screen?
after you set the percentages , I set it for low to be 1% ,70, warning 71 and high 1%,99,warning 100> THis means at low it shouldnt boost more than 7.1 psi and in high no more than 10 psi. SHould I cange the % a little higher?
