Power steering removal.
Well I saw another guy on this forum do it with like 1-2' of rubber hose... Figured this michgt work better. Although our little pipe bender (like most), won't bend over 180 degree's, so I had to bend the rest by hand, and it crushed a little (won't matter....) Anyways here's a picture:

I just removed the pumps, cooler, and lines. I haven't decded how I whant to loop it yet, only because I would like to reverse the mod if I whanted to. But this lookes like a very good way to do the loop. I might end up going this way.
One ?
How much fluid did you put in the lines, and did you turn the wheels lock to lock before sealing the loop?

I'm going to leave a little fluid in there (just so it stays lubed up), but yeah, I turned it back/forth, then tightened the bolts down.
I've had manual steering FC's, and they are awsome, and one converted PS FC, but I didn't loop the line like this, I acctually just JB welded the holes up... not a smart thing, because it caused a fair amount of resistence. But this should work nice, it doens't feel like the fluid in it is causing any pressure.

I was a little reserved about doing mine but I love it! The only time it's a pain is parallel parking, and if you have to turn at maybe 1-3 MPH. If you're going at least 5MPH it's not bad at all.
I went with gotham's loop (saved me the time of finding the parts, only a few bucks) and it works fine. I would think either hard or soft lines would work equally well.

Head to the gym and do some shoulder exercises and it'll make non-powqer steering so easy haha
anyhow, I removed mine too .. in my old fc and my fd now and love it. The road feel is superb and not sloppy. If you don't really track the car and don't really care, then just keep it.

I used Gotham's kit as well, its pretty inexpensive and definitely saves time and searching for the proper connectors.
I love it, my car feels so much better under speed, driving in and out of parking spaces / garages is about the only theing you have to get adjusted to...
