Power steering pully makin noises

My PS pully is sqeaking. I can spray some WD40 on it and it will stop for a little bit. Do I need a new pully or what? I am new to the FD scene, I am posting this for my bro who is over seas. I am an FB guy.

Thanks for your help

-Matt

I spray the WD40 on the nut and behind the pully between the pully and the pump.

Are you sure it's not the belt? With the engine running, hit the belt with a touch of wd and see if the noise quits/changes.

mine does that (I'm running an old belt) so I'd say if you've never changed the belt. Then replace it. The noise should go away. Some people use belt dressing. If your going to have to spend money on the dressing put it towards a new belt.

Replace the belt if it's old, and adjust the belt tensioner. Look in the service manual if you don't already know how to do this.
