He means pop-off.

This is ok when used strictly as a backup, but not to control boost; such as if you had a wastegate failure.

I've heard porting the wastegate, for it will make the houseing weaker and more prone to cracking. Just a thought. Like 93Black said above, do the dual manaul boost controler deal and youll be fine.( also not running stock ecu)

One thing I have learned from people working on these cars that haven't dont alot of work before, is they dont hook up the boost controler correctly. This will cause spike, creep w/e. So make sure you know what you are doing or have someone there to help you with this problem.

Also this topic has come up many many times. Take a good 2 hours of your time and read every damn thread about this topic and I bet you'll solve your problem.

Similar to a blow off valve, but no vacuum connection. It opens once the boost exceeds a certain level.
