Please help I have searched the archives without any results. I did the poor mans non sequential conversion and everything runs great, except that when boost gets to about 10psi it sounds like boost blows of really quickly then rises again. The boost gauge needle is boucing up and down between 8 and 10 psi. After a while on boost it starts to settle down. I thought that it maybe a soleniod that was left hooked up; but I have disconnected all solenoids and installed a manual boost controller and its still the same. I was wondeing if a small leak would behave like that. I checked for leaks and found none. Anyone has any suggestions. The ECU is reprogrammed by Pettit.
Also, I lost my instrument panel lights after we changed the transmission. I checked the wiring diagram and i see where and inhibitor switch is attached to the circuit, but it is also attached to other lights which work. It is not the fuse or bulb, I checked both.

Does it bounce back and forth?
Does the needle kind-of wobble back and forth?
I know a guy that had a messed up compressor on his primary, and it was causing his boost to slightly "wobble"

 

It bouces back and forth real fast then levels out after 5000 rpm. I can hear the boost being released but i can't figure out from where. Also, i noticed a slight hesitation at 3000 rpm. I thought it was a miss but it happens everytime.
