I used my Dremel w/ the Wire brush attachement once to clen my plugs. They worked fine. The electrode was also in good shape other wise I wouldn't have reinstalled them.

you shouldn't need a pfc to get a proper mixture.

I would just do a full tune up and make sure everything is in proper workng order.

HUH? A full tune up will NOT change a stock ECU to run the optimum 11.2 a/f ratio. That is why EVERYBODY is recommending the PFC to fix the rich mixture he is running.

Those plugs are normal. From what I hear you redline once and the plugs get that way. Nature of the beast I guess. Better than sparkling clean.

if you redline it usually has the opposite effect.

hotter and larger combustions tend to clean out the engine.

That's why everyone says it good to rev out the rotary everyonce in a while (same with pistons).

You'll get a lot of buid up if you don't

Do you know how much a set of new NGK Racing plugs cost? These ones are pretty new so I should be able to get away with just cleaning them... just not sure what I should use to do it?

buy the ngk copper 9's for all around. the plugs wear out so quick on rotarys that platinum is a waste of money IMO... the ngk copper plugs are about 2.50 each if i remember.
