pic request FD with Rays GTM 10x18 offset 45

I'm able to get a deal at some Rays GTM wheels, 10x18 with offset 45 on four corners (I'm running coilovers)

tires will be 255/35/18

I just want to know if these will have a large lip, because that's the only way these wheel look good.

I would email the company and ask them for the lip size.

IIRC, the offset determines the lip size in most cases.

The front will clear, you will need a slight roll and remove the 10mm bolt and you should be ok,the key is to run a skinny ish tire up front, the rears will be fine.

Usually FD Friendly offsets are not lip sizeage friendly.

Based on the 18x10 +50 Fikses I had for awhile (never mounted them though) you won't have much of a lip.

got info from the company...51mm lip... argh...

what are other feasable offsets/ wheel widths that work on an FD with coilovers and rolled fenders (inner lip removed and slight roll) that'll give a wide lip/ deep dish

The rears you can fit a 18x10 +35 offset with either a 255/265 tire. that offset should be able to get you a okay lip size you are looking. you would need a minor roll of the rear fenders, but it will set pretty flush w/out lots of work.

Also depends on what disk you get, if you get a disk that is meant for larger brakes you will get a smaller lip. You can run 18x10 + 45 without any problems. I would get more aggressive in the rear and thus you will get a larger lip.

http://www.upgrademotoring.com/wheel...acing/gt-m.htm, that gives you all the sizes and lips. 18x10 + 45 gives you a 51mm lip (2 inches), which is kind of weak IMO. You can squeeze a 18x10 + 33 in the rear on a skinny tire, like a 255 and get a 64mm lip, that might require a slight roll. These wheels dont seem to be that lip friendly, the volk gtu at 18x10 + 45 gives a 74mm lip. If you want a deep lip find a new wheel.
