? for people running pfc +auto

i really like the "HOLD" (for purposes of resembling a manual) function that the auto provides so my question is, does putting a pfc in the car justify the loss?? i know auto + pfc has been covered but im looking for more opinions..

just trying to consider my options on which way to go because i'm just slowing trying to get the car the way i want while trying to handle school.

anyone, please chime in.

thanks,
randy

I've heard that it's possible to get the hold function to work with the PFC, but I've yet to find anyone that will part with that knowledge if it even exists. I'm in the same boat with searching for a good Standalone to work with the auto. I have the PFC on my single turbo FD, and I'd love to put it on the auto; but I rarely use the hold button and I just don't want to have my overdrive locked out.

I wish someone would give up the info or even sell a book with the info/ how to . if they want to recover some research cost. but I think the only way is to piggyback the system with the stock ecu.

im thinking about going single shortly too, as its the only thing left to do apart from a swap.
What sized turbo you running? and is that with a boost controller?

If you're going with a standalone ECU such as the power FC, Powertrain Control Solutions makes an excellent TCU. A little pricey but worth it. I've been running it for approx. 2 years now and haven't had any problem. What I like about the box is the ability to program shift points based on TPS output, accumulator pressure vs load for soft or hard shift between gears, and you still have the hold feature. I bought my tranny and torque converter from Weaklink. He had it rebuilt with Level10 components and so far it's held up.
