So I bought a glove box and it came without a latch and I was looking for one online and I think I found something interesting but im just doublechecking with you all if its true or not. So I looked for the part number of the latch in my parts list and typed it in yahoo.. the only thing it came up with was (1) a parts list for the fd and (2) a parts list for a miata 90-97 i believe the years were.. but i was liek yd this come up so I went and looked at the page... turns out the miatas latch has the same part number as the fd so does this mean I can by a latch that was in a miata and it swap nicely into my glove box????

 

Don't know about the miata latch, but you can buy the fd one new from Ray Crowe for $12.
