Question Oxygen Sensor Location/Installation?

Pretty straight forward, I want to change my oxygen sensor but I am not quite sure where it is located. Help would be appreciated.

You need to remove all the rubber piping that leads to the intake box (minus the larger, lowest one) I think there is 1 large (like 2" diamter) pipe and 3 smaller pipes that come off

If you look down to the side of the engine, looking at the exhaust manifold, you'll see it sticking out (points towards the front of the car at an angle) You'll be able to get a socket and a ratchet down there. Should be a 15-20 min job

The only thing that will probably give you trouble is there are some AC lines that travel up against the chassis on that side. It may make it a bit difficult to maneuver the ratchet around

Buy a shop manual..........

Did you find the gas cap yet? Or did you have to ask someone on the forum where it's located?

Just because it has a rotary engine doesn't mean it's from Mars.

Use a little common sense. You can pretty much can conclude that it's in the exhaust system somewhere.
Add to that, it's normally located close to the engine.

Jack the car up & look for it.

Hint....
Short sliver thing with a wire comming out the end, sticking out the precat/down pipe.

People who ask simple mechanical questions like this worry me. Are you really capable to working or your car without adult supervision?

Grow up. I already received an answer so why did you even bother posting? Don't you have something better to do with your time than complain? I just started working on my car so excuse me if I didn't know where a oxygen sensor was. Clearly I am not yet at your almighty level of vehicle intelligence.

People who ask questions and try to learn something for themselves worry you?? come on, man .

People have to start somewhere when it comes to working on cars; "California Dreaming" is starting with something fairly simple and trying to do it himself and that's a good thing.
