Apexi intake elbow... What is it made of???

I want to weld up the holes in the Apexi elbow that I'm not using. I talked to a local shop and they said if it wasn't aluminum then they could do it if it was aluminum they could refer me somewhere else. It's been on my car since I got it with the holes plugged. I haven't paid enough attention to it to tell what type of metal it was made of.

Hopefully somebody on here knows so I can get back with the guy and set it up before having to go home and look at my intake.

With the wealth of knowledge we have on here I was expecting somebody to come back right away with the answer.

I just got home and checked it. In case anybody is wondering, my magnet tells me that it is aluminum.

It's polished cast aluminum (it's kind of obviouse if you ever picked one upand felt the weight).

Yeah I figured it was aluminum just from looking at it. It has been on there since I got my car so I had never felt the weight of it without the filter on it.

I'm sure it will cost more to weld it since it is aluminum. Some of the rubber plugs I have on there are starting to crack and it looks kinda ghetto with all those pipes sticking out plugged and not a single one of them being used for anything. So hopefully it won't be too much.
