If I'm buying a new 93 rx-7 online, what kind of testing should I request to make sure I don't get screwed? Obviously compression testing, but what else should I do? Thank you

Personally since these cars are so maintanence intensive I wouldn't buy one without seeing it in person. But if you've found one that your really interested in make sure to cover ALL the bases. 1st get a carfax report. Then a compression check like you metioned would be good, see if you can find a reputable rotary mechanic in his area and offer to pay him to have the car checked out. A clean bill of health from someone that knows these cars would give me a lot more confindence in purchasing a car that I've never seen. Make sure to get pictures of everything too.

Try a search, the topic of "what to look for when buying an RX-7" comes up a lot.
