Condensation leaking into passenger compartment

Hey all... water is leaking into my passenger compartment... when I'm just crusing along everything is fine, but when I make a turn, water leaks right under my glove box.

I am thinking it is just that the hose that drains the condensation from the A/C is clogged. If I have the compressor going and make a turn, you can hear the water hitting the compressor fan and it leaks terribly there!! Anyone have a differen't idea as to what it could be or how I could get to that hose? Do I have to dismantle all that crap under there? Damn that's gonna take some time...

Thanks,
Troy

Sounds like the drain line from the condensor is clogged or broken. Just clear it out or re-attach it.

if you look on the firewall on the paaenger side you will see it just to the left of the tranny tunnel. The same thing happened to me last week. the hose was filled with about 10 pounds of gunk. You can also see where it attatches to the evaporator pan if you look under the passenger side dash. If its not the hose, then yes you have a hole in your evaporator and you'll have to pull it out of your dash. Thats really unlikely though. Just check the drain hose.

It's shown in the HVAC chapter of the S5 FSM.

NZConvertible, the HVAC chapter? I can't find that anywhere, neither the actual FSM or the online version...

CaptainWankel -- I think I have located it... how did you get the hose out? Very little of it is on both sides of the firewall and I don't want to hurt anything by ripping it out...

I'm thinking that it might not be the hose... I might have to disassemble the whole thing and put it closer together. Anyone know what to use to get the nuts off? I've tried things like a straight wrench (or whatever it is where you have the tiny pole and you stick the fitting for the nut on it) and the whole unit gets in your way so you can't fit it directly straight on the nut. And you can't use a wrench because the carpet underneath will get in your way.. what do I use?!?!
