Cooling Fan problem.

It couldn't have happened at a worse time...

I was lucky enough to run into the local Viper club tonight and was cruising with them (about 7 Vipers.. one with a Roe Supercharger.. 800hp i think) and toying around..

Well my temps started to rise, so i thought it was just from boosting soo much and stuff, we all pulled into a Shell station and my coolant buzzer went off.. i was losing coolant out of my lower hose, it got loose somehow..

The Fans were on, but blowing very very slow.. like they were dying..

Then i shut the car off and left the AC power on so the fans would run...Well the fans weren't on.. so i checked the fuse, connections, and such.. and no go.. they still didn't run. Everything checked out ok, so i guess they are dead?

Anyone have any ideas? I checked the obvious.. maybe 11 years of service finally killed them. Anyone know of any aftermarket ones worth getting?

Thanks in advance..

If they lasted 11 years, just get OEM ones that will last another 11 years.

There was a thread a while back and someone mentioned jumping the power to the fans to see if they work or not (to bypass the relays). That would be a quick way to see if you have a relay problem or if the fans are truely dead.

It's not likely that both of your fans died at the same time. Check your fans relays near the passenger side strut tower.
