I would say to, go ahead and put it on. You dont have to take it off to put the mid-pipe on. If you dont have a boost guage, get one.
let me know if you can control the boost with every- thing on. I have a intake,dp,mp,and the gt spec as well. With the silencer out I cannot control the boost "even with my manual boost controler wide open". With it in I can control my boost (big restriction of airflow). You might as well do a non-sequential so that you have no spikes.
The car sounds so mean with the scilencer out. I wish I could run like this, but I guess I just need my waste gate ported....... But let us know how it turns out

Watch for spiking on transition with a DP and CB, doesn't happen to everyone but it did happen to me.
If you get spiking replace "pill" in WG line with a larger one (or drill out the one on the car), you might have to play with the pill size to get the boost right. I used a .073" drill and spiking was gone but boost stayed just about right.
I wouldn't convert to non-seq if you don't have a IC and intake, then again I wouldn't convert to seq if I did have those mods. I like the "low end torque" that seq offers.

Yup. Can't beat the GT Spec in terms of styling nor performance. It's an all around winner if you want similar to stock styling but better performance. I gotta stop eating them Wheaties...
BTW Joed, you can't crash this thread since Spec is part of the name of this part! Buwahahah [inside joke].
