is it ok to do this (AWS related)?

ok, just finished getting my new engine running perfectly, i beat the 1500 rpm idle!! but in my troubleshooting i replaced my UIM with my JDM one that does not have the AWS solonoid, so when i check the engine codes i get a code 38 since the car does not see the solonoid anymore. is it ok to just leave the solonoid out and not worry about it? or should i hook up the solonoid and leave it sitting there or put a resistor in its place or something? it seems to run just fine without it there, havnt driven it yet tho.

run a resistor. Do a search to pull up the exact resistance.

Or get a PFC.

330 ohm 1/2 watt resistor does the trick.
