Is it OK to....

..use a midpipe and connect the airpump to it. Will this pass emissions?
Also,
To run a full exhaust (highflow cat) without the airpump.

Thanks in advance,
Ripzta.

you can run the air pump to the midpipe but it wont do anything for you and you wouldnt pass emissions

Yes, you can run a high flow cat without the airpump...

That was quick!
Will running full exhaust without the airpump pass emissions? Because my pump is making noises and CBF buying a new one, I just want to remove it.

Without a catalytic converter, what do you expect to burn off the rest of the emissions?

Airpump or not, it won't matter without a cat converter.

Are you talking visual or smog? It doesn't really matter because it will fail either way.
Maybe if you leaned the hell out of it and used alcohol, even then you would still fail miserably. The cat is there for a reason.

There is no way you can pass a smog test if your running a full exhaust.Don't buy i new airpump, i think it would be a waste of money, just pay someguy to make your car pass.

You have to have an airpump hooked up with a stock or hi-flow cat to pass emissions testing.

I never had an emssions inpection done ever so I wouldn't know when or what they check! The FD is my first car. :p I had to renew my rego and went to a local workshop to get the pink slip but the guy didnt check for defects. Maybe because it looks stock.

Ripzta, go over to the Australian Forum and ask. Or have the mods move this thread over there.
