What's **** oil? If it is Castrol GTX than yeah it runs great on **** oils. Full synthetics leave deposits in rotaries no good.

Castol GTX 10w30 every 3,000kms here.

castrol gtx 10-30 every 2k on the dot.

does anyone remember that thread about how they were cutting down on the amount of the good 'stuff' in the oils because piston engines no longer need that kind of wear protection? there was a list of brands and amounts they were cutting, i wish i remembered if castrol was on it or not.

i brought this up because a few days ago when i was changing my oil, i noticed that new oil i purchased on the last oil change (i buy 5qts and leave half of the 5th in the rear bin) was MUCH darker and thicker than the oil i has just purchased to do the change. and it was all the same brand, same type, same place ive ALWAYS bought it from.

i tried searching for the thread but i cant remember any key words in it.
