Yes.....it should be around 30 psi at idle (full warm), around 50-60 psi at 3k rpm.

The FSM says minimum 50 psi @ 3000 rpm. There is an oil pressure relief valve though, I think its in the oil pan, check out the FSM.

I've speculated that excessive oil pressure may cause oil to leak from the turbo's. I talked to my turbo rebuilder, he said that leaks on the turbo due to oil pressure were relative to the counter pressure (air pressure in the turbo). He cited some super large turbo's don't have seals, they depend on air pressure to balance the oil pressure at the bearing to keep it from leaking.

I am curious though if others had made repairs to lower oil pressure.

It depends alot on viscosity rating and age of the oil. Probably why the FSM only specifies a minimum and at a specified rpm.

30 PSI? On a 3RD gen. No. Looks like you'll be rebuilding your engine soon. A good pressure is 60psi at idle and 115 wot.

I think are too many variables that influence oil pressure...rpm, ambient temp, engine temp, number of coolers, oil viscosity rating, change intervals (IIRC mulit-viscosity additives tend to break down with age) and fuel dilution, not to mention the possiblity of oil mods on the engine... that they just can't be standardized. But 30 psi would be just fine at idle. 60 psi, at a 750 rpm idle, would be unusually high.

I don't think I've seen sustained oil pressure of over 60psi WOT through 7 years 67,000 miles. 50k on current motor.

^^Ditto. Operating pressures are between 30 and 60 psi. WOT to as high as 120 on a good day.

Oil pressure rises with RPM not throttle position.

I haven't seen one either but I'm curious about other responses at WOT, full boost, and high RPMs. And if someone is running over 100psi has any body checked out their pressure relief valve in their pan.

Then compare it to how much oil drained from your intercooler at 10,000 miles. Or what kind of problems have you had that could be attributed to high oil pressure.
