my gauge reads i have no oil pressure but it picks up as soon as i accelerate....just wondering if i should be worried or not.....or if anyone else had the same prob and how did they fix it....it could just be my gauge or sensor.....

The oil pressure sending unit is notoriously prone to failure. I replaced mine about a year ago and it is already acting up again- pressure drops real low momentarily, them spikes back up. Pretty sad for a sender that costs over $80. If you can get the fittings to adapt from metric thread to pipe thread, you can put a mechanical gauge in place of the electronic one.

Oil pumps don't fail like this. Its the sender mine did the same thing today - even went negative a little. Turned off the car and back on and voila! pressure normal. Shitty sensors as has been said here.
J/k all of ours suck
