oil filter relocation kit install

Anyone on here done a 3rd gen oil filter re-location install with a kit similar to the Summit Racing item ? I'm interested in doing one ( hard to get to my filter now with mods ) and wondered what snags I'll run into.

well I'm done with it.

word of advise. don't use the stock oil filter. It looks like it might screw in fine but it doesn't. It came off a block away from where I did it. I had oil every where. This picture is when I wiped most of everything and spray engine cleaner. you see the HUGE oil filter? well the kit has a list for standar fit and tight fit. That's a tight fit. But so far is fine I just drove in the freeway (very cautious) and it was fine. Oil pressure seem a bit higher though.

sorry for the big pic but I wanted you to see as much as possible. the reason I picked that location is because it was the best way I could get the lines to go without bending them so much. BTW all the lines are secured to brackets on the side of the car to kep the lines from the belt.

damn it the site went down. go here sometime when the site is up if you want to look at it http://www.geocities.com/aprilsalicrup/

Just use Imageshack. I never understood why you would want to do this with a 13B. The stock filter setup is very easy to get to and makes changing the filter a snap. You can even fit the larger MX-6 sized filter on it. What was your motivation in relocating the oil filter?

oil pressure gauge hook up. I wanted some where that i feel very confortable with. I also hate removing all the piping to get to it.
here is the pic.

I like it, who made the kit ? To answer the one question - why - well when you add on mods like RRFPR, gauges, wiring, boost gauges, etc. then the area around the filter becomes congested - sans the filter re-location.
