Should I stick with non-synthetic since the last owner never used it. I got 100k mi.

Switching won't hurt anything (except your wallet). Just switch and see how your oil looks the next time you change it. You're engine isn't going to last much longer anyway. j/k

Save youre money use dino juice and replace 2K or less, if you really want to extend engine life upgrade the cooling system or and install larger oil coolers.This will make a bigger differance in the long run over using expensive sysnthetic oil, remember most rebuilds are needed because the o-ring fails or detonation not what oil you used? The 13brew dosent have a problem with lubrication.
