Is this normal for FD's?

Hi Everyone:

I'm fairly new to RX7's so please bear with me. When you guys have the key in the ON position, does your fans go on? This happens in my FD and I want to know if this is normal for RX7's or theres something wrong with mine.

Your A/C is on and this will also turn you fans on.

The strange thing is that even when the motor is cold, when the key is in the ON position, the fans turn ON...any possible solutions?

I checked if the Air/AC is on when I have the car in the key ON position and the air is OFF. Anything else I should check that could cause this?

The previous owner might have performed the fan mod to run one or both fans when the car is on.

Maybe...but it doesnt make sense to have it that way if there is no way to control it. I"ll ask my local rotary shop to take a look at it. Thanks for the input regardless.

The guy who had my car before me did the same thing. Anytime the key is in the on position the fans are running. I like it this way. It dosen't hurt anything.

Wouldnt it wear out the fan motors faster?
Usually I just drive with the parking lights on.
