I've never heard of anyone using a PDA on a 3rd gen. The most common tool for tuning seems to be the Apexi Power FC.

Get a datalogit and a techedge wideband. You will need a computer to log the information too. You can hook all that up to a Power FC ECU. If you don't have a clue, you might want to be very careful about tuning the car yourself.

The stock ECU can't be tuned. Most of the aftermarket programmable ECU's have a monitor that can be purchased along side the ECU.

I think you can only do that with cars equipped with the OBDII system. I think that applies to all cars after 96. Something like that. So in other words, you cant do that with any RX-7.

In the past forum members were able to hookup their PDA to their Haltech e6k system. THey were able to tune and monitor through the PDA.

You sound like a DSM owner. No, you can't monitor your ECU with the pocketlogger. It's only designed for the 1st generations DSM's and most OBD-II vehicles.

the rx7 version is pretty new, pocketloggers are awesome little devices.. 150$ gets you total access to every paramater the ecu sees. between that and dsmlink, we have it good in diamond star land as far as tuning is concerned
