Heres that pesky nipple on the LIM...correct as to where I need to connect it? If not please fix my stupidity.

Thanks

Ok, my previous post with the pic is completely wrong...smelling too many fumes or something.

Anyway...its back to this question. That goes to the FPR but where the hell is the FPR.

Been looking over the manual to find the connection but I'm not seeing it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Eddie

and yes you can use the home depot boost controller with this

It goes to the FPR itself. You are bypassing the solenoid. Follow the secondary fuel rail towards the firewall and look below. It looks like an actuator and has a nipple on it. that is it. - Rikki
ok, wait...so was I right with this pic?

Car is done!!! Did the rikki method, however removed all solenoids.

5psi at 3300
10 psi around 3800-4000

Kicking it up to 14 psi I see full boost right around 3900 while in 4th gear WOT from 60 mph.

Real easy driving around town but takes some getting used to....nice way to transition for the single turbo.

Thanks for all the help from everyone!

It does feel nicer to drive. Once the boost gets kicked you can feel the transition better...throws you back in the seat.

Also noticed that my Profec b keeps boost steady...no boost creep to speak of yet.

I am thinking about doing this, because in oregon we get alot of rain, and boost in rain sucks, aka sideways.

Do rikkis method to see if you like it first. The lag is not for some.

I did it following www.dontbearikki.com and even though i have a boost prob (had before going non-seq) it kicks ***. Now i am diving into the nest and going to the simplified setup.

TT, I would'nt do it until you have all the bolt-ons. If it where a stock exaust, ic, ecu...the lag would be realy bad. Once you get all the bolt-ons, then I'd do it. CJ

Well,I was really hoping that going to non seq. will take care of my intermitent boost problems,so I did the conversion today.Got everything as in the diagram, but pulled out the sol.and did not use resistors. If I leave it like this is is only gonna trigger my check eng.lite,or am I gonna have some drivebility problems?the reason I ask is because the car starts, idles OK but around 3k as going to pos.pressure it starts backfiring and almost stalls? Will not go to boost.I checked the lines milion times .......Only other thing is,I left the FPR hoocked up to FPR solenoid ,Could it be it?

Hey, you need to put resistors in place or use your stock solenoids as resistance. Without it, your car would go into whats known as "limp mode" it will run like **** and cant boost, just like what your describing. that is most likely your probably.
Are you running the stock ECU?

evot, so where does that fuel pressure regulator go to. I know that i connect one nipple to the FPR by the firewall, but what about the other one right by the nipple on the LIM???

Nathan,
I am affraid that's not it,I tryed to plug in the solenoids....did not help,so I went back to simplified seqentials, and same thing...after a while of checkin what could be wrong,I wiggled with wiring under UIM
and it got fixed. So I assume that maybe wiring for secondaries may have intermittent connection??? Well
next weekend I will go for it again, maybe. Not sure yet cause it runs kind of nice now, almost no spike, secondary turbo stays online amost to red line....
By the way ,yes I am still on stock ECU.I know Ishould upgrade pretty soon.(down pipe, catback, open air intake, air pump off,Greddy SMIC comming up With underdrive pulleys.
