IL No Spark

Did a half *** search decided to just ask.

So here's the problem.

Car will not get a spark. However when i push start it i will start right up. For a while i was having a hit or miss when i tried to start the car using the key. I would crank it and nothing come back the next day car will start right up.

the other day wasn't so cold so i pulled the wire and had a friend crank it.... I used my self as ground haha. However i didn't get shocked so no fire. lol
Mods are.

Single swap with all the support.

I have pretty much Stock Ignition. just put in new NGK 9's all around with Magnacore 10mm wires andT2 Coils.

I replaced the Ignitor thinkin it would be it.(SP?? igniter) still nothing. at least i have a spare now....

any idea's ?

I Had a similar problem, the ECU wasn't get an RPM signal (No RPM reading during cranking on the PFC). Car would fire up sometime, and wouldn't others. What I did was simply move the pulley sensor (not sure what's called, thing that reads engine position.. similar to Crank Angle Sensor function) closer to the pulley ring. I just added two small washer behind the sensor to narrow the gap between the sensor and the ring on the main pulley. After that, never had a problem since, and been over 3 years now.

Hope that helps.
