No fuel pressure

Well, as the title says, after having the car sit for 4 months while I do some modifications to it, today I tried to prime the fuel in the lines, however I'm not getting any pressure in my fuel pressure gauge. I have the CJ Motorsports Fuel Kit with 550CC/1200CC injectors. I've also got an Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator with a Jegs Fuel Pressure Gauge. I just installed the Nippondenso Fuel Pump from RX7store.net.

So I jumped my the ground and F/P in the diagnosis box and I go to the back of the car and I hear the fuel pump running. I go back to the front but see that I've got no pressure. Well, I thought no pressure no gas comes out, so I take the gauge off and gas starts to come out. I pull the line and the fuel stops coming out. I put the gauge back on and plug it again. I've adjusted the FPR but still no pressure. I go to the back and I pull off the fuel return line hose but nothing is returning. If the motor isn't running is Fuel supposed to be returning? The Fuel return was really dry.

You might have your supply/return lines reversed. The supply line goes to the input of the fuel rails, the return line goes from the fuel pressure regulator back to the tank.

Also, make sure the FPR is plumbed in properly. Some of them have multiple ports and can be set up in weird and interesting ways .

hmmm
they aren't marked so they may be on backwards, how can I make sure they are return lines or supply lines though if they aren't marked?

So today I swapped the lines, still nothing. Anything else? I don't see any leaks or anything.

if you pinch the return line with a pair of plier, is the pressure raising? Are you sure the pump is installed correctly?

You sure the o-ring on the pump neck is well placed?

is you fuel pressure regulator entering the side and exiting on the bottom with a plug on the other side?
