No Boost!

On Friday i bought a nice fd. I am new to fds but i have had 3 fbs, one turbo, and a TII. This one is different because i bought it already modded so i dont know the previous history. The mods are, rebuilt streetported motor and rebuilt turbos(about 6k on both) a greddy profec b, itake and full apexi exhaust, turbo timer, silicone hose kit, HKS twin power ignition, and an apexi power FC and commander. I THINK it is a non-seq conversion seeing as the wastegate has the vac line plugged. anyways, the car has been driving fine all weekend. i put about 75 miles on it and it was boosting about 1 bar the whole time(15 PSI) and pulled strong and hard. I parked it last night and got in it this morning and let it warm up. Then i took off and it will not boost now. still runs perfect, idle acell, decell, everything. i can hear them try to spool but no boost. i checked the easy things like BOV line, boost controller line, any other ac lines FMIC piping ect. PLEASE HELP! sorry about the short novel but any help is appreciated.

Double-check all the intake couplers. Remove each one from the car for a thorough inspection.

A small leak can lose a surprising amount of boost, and a big leak can look surprisingly small.

Go to the trouble of removing the couplers from the car. It's just the couplers on each end of the crossover pipe and the intercooler.

yea i will try that later today. What are the chances of it being a wastegate problem? also i noticed if it i accelerate hard it will try to boost... i get about 3lbs then when i let off it makes a really wierd noise. seems from the turbo/wastegate area and not from the bov

i had the exact same problem... what had happend was the coupler came loose from the piping on two parts. Look over it and make sure thats not whats going on. The sound sounds like a really loud owl.

well now im confused. Since i got the car the wasegates have been disconnected. the vacuum lines were pulled off and plugged. then this while problem started i tried taking out the plug and hooking up the top wastegate. and i got one turbo. my boost goes up to 1bar and then slowly bleeds down when the other should be boosting. so i tried putting it the way it origionally was(vac line off and plugged) and no boost again. i dont understand what changed between sunday night and monday morning..... also i noticed on the PFC the seq turbo conversion is on the setting that the begining is a + and all the rest are the ones that look like a p. my next plan is going to be to get some vac line and hook up the other WG. please any help?

There is only one wastegate. There is also a turbo control actuator which looks exactly the same as the wastegate actuator. The wastegate actuator is above the turbo control actuator. Which ones are you referring to in your posts? This would help tremendously.

that sounds like the failsafe boost level. Check the vacuum line that connects to the waste gate actuator and make sure there is a pill in the line.

you said it has a boost controller too. did you hook that back up?

and when you were boosting 15 psi, how quick did it spool to 10-15 psi? (RPM wise)

did it have any kind of dip through the rpms around 4k. Like 10-8 -15, 15-13-15, or anything similar? or was it just a solid 15 the whole time. This will help determine if its Non seq, or seq.
