hi peoples just wanted to ask a few questions i pick up my rx next sat from jimmys in hoveton its an import efini type r 1992 does any one know the bhp of this car ,have looked on other sites but keep only finding 93 models.also would a 93 bonnet fit a 92 model.cheerz

 

93 US model is a 92 model elsewhere. So everything is basically the same except for the RHD/LHD interior.

The bhp rating for a stock set up is 255-270 (Mazda had a couple of different set ups for the Efini for the 92-93 RHD model). I have the same basic vehicle.

 

I think you will find that 95% of the parts will interchange from 1992 - 2002 I have just bolted a 1999 front end, rear bumper etc onto my car. The parts that donr really interchange are the 1997 upwards wiring, ecu etc. From what I know all the bolt on interior/exterior parts interchange.

 

The bhp is 255 of my '92 japan domestic type and 180km/hr speed limit last 16 years ago

 

cheers for the info mate was hoping you where gonna say 280bhp as its a type r and wasnt sure,will wait till the engine warrantys up then start lightly modifying it next year.
