New oil cooler in place almost ready to go

I took off my stock dual oil coolers in favor of this sexy little unit. I changed over from a 5 spd. to a TH350 so the passenger side needed to be free for the tranny cooler. I've got a similar one for the tranny that's just a little bit thinner with a nice little fan on it.

You think it's thick enough? I think it should be a pretty good replacement for the stock dual coolers don't you guys?

Here's my remote oil filter mount that's going to house a very sexy Canton screw on oil filter in an anodized blue aluminum housing. These pics are from a couple weeks ago so the finished product won't be up for a while.

I'm hoping to have the car at Sevenstock.....if not then SEMA will be the next shot. If i can keep myself occupied with something else maybe i could stop changing everything and actually get the car done.

thanks......you should see it now! Not to toot my own horn but damn i'm good! J/K I am very pleased with the results though. I'll be pleased even more when it's done and out in the public to see what people think.

I'll also be pleased when it's clicking off some low 9sec. passes

airn: it's custom made by Fluidyne.....i don't think they offer anything this size for regular usage. I got it through the people that are sponsoring me for all my fittings and stuff like that. They don't sell to the public unfortunately right now but that's going to change pretty soon. If you want something like this then let me know and i'll get you the prices. I'll go measure the cooler and get back with you in a few.

that thing is a monster! does a larger oil cooler like that increase the overall quantity of oil you need in the car?

the work looks incredibly nice! finish it and drive it.

The size of the cooler is 12" x 6" x 3.75". It's almost as thick as my intercooler!

You mean vs. the stock dual coolers? I haven't measured the factory lines vs. the new lines but it'll be close. Since i put the oil relocation and ran smoother bends than the factory banjo's i'm thinking the oil quantity should be the same. What i mean by that is i'll be getting a little extra length in the line being that it's a larger radius.

Or something like that......
