Need some advice on upgrades

I recently got some money from a motorcycle accident and want to fix up the 7, but I dont want to go too extreme. I am looking to make about 300 rwh. I currently have a dp and highflow cat. Just curious as to what to buy and from whom. Thanks for the help.

How much do you got?

ECU(reprogamed chip) + catback-exhaust + intake + intercooler = 300+ rwhp

get a power fc to add the needed fuel and timing adjustments...or the haltech...or at least get something controllable.

get an intercooler asap...that will help your turbos breathe and allow for more boost without cooking the hell out of everything. the m2 large stock mount kicks ***. the little greddy is a waste (every rx dyno tuner laughs at them)

get an intake system from rotary reliability and racing (it looks great and is a cross between the pettit system and the m2)..sort of. its a great price too...250 bucks. uses k&n filters i believe. 7148398018 ask for louis or nick

get a boost controller (the home depot style will work but you would be better off with a profec b)

get the car dyno tuned...or tuned on a wideband. the tune by mail maps are horseshit and everyone knows it...you need to get it on a dyno...ya really do. or use the datalogit and diy and tune it yourself.

up the boost to about 13-14 lbs MAX and only for fun days

yer good to go.

You only need 300 why do you have to go the expensive way? If you need 350+ then yes. Money is your do whatever you want

Jesus, just go single. With that kind of $$$ why not? If all you are looking for is 300 RWHP take a look at the Apexi RX6. It will handle that EASILY, and the lag is minimal from what I am told.

there are Race and Medium I/C. Race I/c you still need to relocate your batery. Yes they are good stuff and highly demand.

If you are only shooting for around 300 rwhp, here's what I would do (if I were you):

1. Catback (anyone to your liking)
2. M2 Cold Air Intake
3. M2 Med SMIC
4. M2 or Pettit ECU
5. Some suspension mods (lowering springs or coilovers)

Take the rest of your money and save/invest it... Good luck...

I think you need to learn how to use the SEARCH button on upper right corner of your screen. You'll find most of your answer there.

If you are looking for something that is quiet, then the dual tip catbacks are probably what you'll like. M2 also has a dual tip catback that is quiet and flows well. Racing Beat also has one that is nice.

Personally, I don't like the dual tip look, but if sound is your concern... it's the only way to go. Check out M2's site for their products:
