Need to make a decision...
hey,
OK ive been searching for about a month now and ive gotton a ton of information about what i need from this site. i have a bunch of mods and its time to get a radiator and FMIC. Let me tell you what i have, basically all you need to know is that i have the apexi twin intakes and the polished intake pipes from the rx7store. i also have the 99 bumper. im really looking for the best price but i will pay to make is easier on myself and to make my car into the best working condition it could be. I need just some definitive answers to sway me in the right direction about what parts i should choose.. aka fitament, and overall quality.
Ok i have come down to 2 FMIC's:
Greddy 2 row
Blitz
and the 3 most popular radiators:
Fluidyne
PWR
Koyo
In my mind i like the blitz IC and the PWR radiator but please let me know what im going to run into with either one of these setups and please help me make a decision!
thanks guys for any info
E.J.
ps - dont forget about what intake and bumper i have.

Here is my advice on radiators.. If you are handy with tools and know how to work on a car well.. greddy fmic.. more effective.. however cutting is involved.. to bumper as well as bumper support.. However if you are not.. blitz goes in right behind the radiator and is fairly easy to install.. Radiator.. they are all the same just about... pick the cheapest.

KDRotary is going to do the work in PA... so i wont be putting it in myself.. i just dont want them to hack the crap out of my car and then charge me an arm and a leg for it...

The Greddy FMIC is cheaper I believe. I love how huge mine is in the front mouth of the car. I don't think the Blitz FMIC is mounted in front of the front crossmember like the Greddy. The Koyo is the biggest of those radiators at 2" thick, and for radiators it is size that counts. As far as your intakes, it shouldn't be too hard to make them fit. Mine ended up fiting perfect with the Greddy FMIC, but I have a different intake set-up. Unfortunately I have no experience with the Blitz product to tell you anything otherwise.

I can't say about the intercooler, but I've had a Koyo radiator in my car for almost a year, and despite very mild fitment issues, its a great radiator and I'd suggest it. Josh
