Need Help-- Did a search already

My R1 is smoking at idle. Its smoking alot. Did a search and so far its coming back negative to the common smoking issues. Have full coolant, Spark plugs ar brand new. Ecu reset. I though it was a pcv valve, so while I wait for an ordered valve, i took out the filler cap to se eif venting relieved any of the smoking. It didnt. I need more pointers on what to look for. It seems as white/bluish smoke with no scent of coolant, but plenty of gas. Any hints.

Is it warmed up yet? Is the weather cool and damp?

Mine will smoke and smell rich for a good 10min when the weather is cool and I'm starting it for the first time in a couple of days.

Just 1st things 1st.

Your turbos could be blowing oil. Check your IC inlet to see if there is oil in it. Is the idle smooth? Or rough? Miles on the car?

It is common for some smoke on startup... But it should go away in a couple of minutes.

This is not the typical smoke on startup. this is "Im fumigating the neighborhood for mosquitos". The idle is smooth. and I havent let it warm up fully yet. Its just too much smoke. I can cover 5 blocks if i let it warm up. There isnt oil in the IC tube or stock elbow. This is why i think its an internal oil leak. But how can i know? thanks

It'll be easier to find out if you let it warm up fully. It's embarassing, I know! I had 4 neighbors knock on my door asking if everything was alright last time I started mine...

OK, say I was to warm it up fully, and it still smoked. What could it be? It was fully wamred up when it started to smoke. Never even moved it. I just let it run to get it warmed up, and after 4 min, poof tons of smoke.

Heres the scoop:

Checked everything, and all with the engine seems fine, But i noticed some oil deposits on my dp gasket. Im thinking the turbos are gone and need a rebuild.

Sounds about right. Mine did the same thing.. Oil everywhere. You can find decent used ones for pretty cheap. Or, you could upgrade. There are several places to get them done here on the forum.

Yeah I guess im gonna look to go single. although I did see somewhere on the forum some shop rebuilding turbos for $250. But I guess you get what you pay for.

I wonder if oil could be seeping in from somewhere
