my wheels...
I got these wheels ( they came on the car), and Ive never seen them before. Theyre Mazdaspeed, hell I didnt even know they made wheels. The guy I bought it from said they were staggered, Id ont know the rim widht but Ive got 235s up fron and 255s out back. Theyre 17s. theyre two piece, made by rays. Anyone know about what my offset would be? Do they still make them? I need the special wrench thing to get my centercaps off. Anyone know what theyre worth?

Tanjo,
It's impossible to say for sure what the width and offset is, as they came in many different variations. But you're most likely looking at 8 or 8.5 fronts, and 9 and 9.5 rears. Those are the variations I've seen for that specific wheel (there are a few different Mazdaspeed wheels). The offsets are usually +38 or +40. Your best bet is to jack the car up and look on the inside of the wheels. They have a Rays Wheels sticker that will say both the size (diameter & width) as well as the offset.
I don't think Mazdaspeed still makes that exact style, w/ the rivets on the edges and the thicker spokes. I think they're really selling this style now:
As for the wrench, I can try and get a price quote for ya on it if you'd like.

Dam, I think your rims are the old school MS01 wheels! All the older MazdaSpeed wheels were made in conjunction with Rays and are extremely rare......and uber sexy. I spent almost a year trying to track down a set of either the MS01, MS02 or MS03 wheels from MazdaSpeed, I came accross only one pair (the MS03's) and they were selling for $1800 per wheel, used.
The sizes should be 17x8.5F and 17x9.5r and you will need a special wrench to get them off. I dont think MS sells the wrench anymore since they havent made those wheels in like 10 years however, ADVAN still sells the wrench you will need, otherwise they go for sale on Ebay every once and a while. The wrench came with the wheels i bought, but i didnt need it since i keep the centercaps hand-tight. Now i wish i hadent sold it. Anyway, those are some nice rims!
