My next mod....

Is gonna be a 12 gauge shotgun,

My car was hit again while parked last night. Im came outside this morning and all was silent.... Then a loud resounding **** rang through the parking lot.

Somone hit my rear bumper taking out a large chunk of paint, and of course left. This is the 3rd time my car has been hit while parked in the last 8 months, 2 times were hit and run. I now need a new paint job although mine is less than a year old. Does anyone else have this kinda bad luck with their fd? Cause im gonna kill somone if I ever catch them tryin to hit and run

Best mod you'll ever do is a house/garage.

I wish I could afford one!

When I used to park out in the street my car was hit on the drivers side door, making a huge dent $400+ to fix.
Somebody backed up on it, had to be a SUV or a van b/c the dent was high up.

POS just took off, I know if I was there when it happened I would of freaked out and probobly end up behind bars, so I say better I didn't see nothing, now I pay close to 400 bux for a monthly garage space, aint that a beatch...

I was sitting in my car in a parking lot when my car got hit. My car is so low that the rx300 didn't see me while he was reversing.

Hey spoolin1012, nice car! Looks real clean.
But you need to make your sig a little smaller; it makes the screen too wide.

I wish my paint was nice enough to even worry about.
Damn 93 paint and 5 years sitting in the AZ sun.

The garage is such a saver. I had all my dents and dings pulled and repainted 3 years ago, and to this date, it's still flawless. I guess I have better luck than most people.

You are not the only one. My **** got hit 2 weeks ago by a stupid drunk driver that was trying to park. Luckily he only broke the center tailight (raised truck) and no body damage. He took off. I was in a cafe right next door and by the time I got in the car to try and chase him down he was out of my sight... Lucky bastard because I had no intention of going over there and swapping insurance if you know what I mean.

Hell, look for a house to rent. Get a few buddies together and split the rent - I did that for YEARS before I was married. REAL cheap way to live, not to mention the car is quite a bit safer . I refuse to ever live in an apartment complex - not only do you pay a fortune for a tiny crap apartment, but you can forget doing anything worthwhile with a car.

That's exactly what happened to me 3 years ago...man it didn't feel good watching that happen.

I wish i could get a garage.

i live in a house, with other people. However in this town none of the houses have parking unless you go far away from campus.

if you have a computer (or a vcr) go to radio shack or some internet store and buy a web camera or a cheap, black and white, wireless camera and receiver and hook the ****** up to your computer and RECORD in LOW RESOLUTION

cheap *** security system.

it won't work in all occations but you'll catch the FUCKSTICK that keeps hitting your car!

Yeah, you can use a camera to video your car. You can even set it up to record any movements, with a motion detected light it works pretty good. A garage is the best way, you could also get a nice alarm with a pager that is touch sensitive or has proximity sensor in it. That way anyone gets near your car, the pager will let you know soon enough, unless they hit your car and take off real quick like.

i just havent found the money to have it installed yet I think it just moved to a top priority though this month.

Best thing I got is a 3 car garage... that extra stall is sooooooo worth it. Safe place to park, plus to work on stuff. As far as parking outside... when I go to the mall, or to work, I always park either in the last spot of a line, and overshoot it a bit, so the next person to park next to me, will be FAR away from my door. I also park far, far away as well... grocery stores are the worst.

Sorry to hear about the hit and run... I agree, I don't know what I would do if I caught the person....

i have the worst luck with my FD. But it was all in 1 intersection, 1. spun off the road in the rain when i first got it. 2. blew my motor racing porshe. 3. got rear ended by a ****** which totalled my FD and that is the most recent. So that is the intersection from hell i guess u could say

Welcome to my world. My Silver FD has been hit 3 times this year! Two of them were hit and runs, also. I just got my car back from it's second complete paint job in a year. The good news is that my car came back better than before.
  • Complete paint job
  • Three rims were re-finshed, no more curb rashes
  • One new tire, no more sidewall bubble
  • Suspension was fixed, no more creaking
  • Plus some other little things(interior peices, bulbs) that the body shop fixed for free
The only bad thing, besides having to pay the $500 deductible, is that I am now paranoid about my car getting a dinged up. It sits in the garage now during the week. I'm getting to know my Interga DD a lot better now.

Taking up 2 spots sometimes is the cause of key marks and shopping carts running into your car and random **** like that. People will purposely damage your car for taking up 2 spots. Kinda like them being jelous and you rubbing it in their face.
