that seems like a pretty fair settlement, although no doubt you have alot more than that into it

Well, this thread just shows...
1) There are still decent people around that understand that the value of a car is far less than that of a person.
2) There are still plenty of folks driving around without a clue. (I have been forced to use the escape hatch several times when someone intruded into my lane. (I always wonder why it is that people do not see a bright red sports car.)
3) The seven is built strong er than it looks.
To the owner's G/F, I am sure there is little you can do to make it up to your B/F. But I am also pretty sure, from what I have read, that he knows the true value of a car. So, go spend your new (second chance) life with a purpose.

Just caught this thread. That sucks, I totalled mine also a month ago. 2 of the 4 single FD's in Indy gone. The bad part was it was my fault. Your looks much worse than mine though. How much did they give you for the car and what was the buyback? I will have mine rebuilt before the spring though. I already have a donor.
scotty, no i had falken tires
ryan, the car is definately not in a state to be repairable. i'm going to just part it out and stray away from cars for a little while. probably go get a new bike and have fun with it for a while. i finally got the settlement today. they ended up giving me 17,900 for it, minus a $500 deductable, so that left 17,400. the buy back ended up being $2500. so all in all, i ended up pretty good with the insurance. now i just have to find someone to pawn all my crap off on

i'm still around, just don't post much anymore. life has gotten much busier the past year. i'm still in love with rotaries, but i took a break from the car scene for a while. if by chance i can sell my bike or my truck soon, i'm going to buy another. if anyone wants a bike or a truck, lemme know
