Sorry to hear man.

Is the car fully insured?

I know its painful to think about but i would get ALL the receipts you can find and make sure they never find your car. That way the loan is completely paid off and you dont get your car back with a million times broke, missing and all ruined.

Sucks cause i know you just got it too.

That really sucks!
What's the story with the VIN #? You don't have it for the police to track the stolen car?

If it were me, I would be driving the streets in my DD looking for my FD... like a parent looking for a child.

That is one of my worst fears... Sorry that happened dude. If I thought I heard my car start, I'd run outside with a weapon.

My first mod was an alarm with remote entry and vibration sensor.

I'd keep a close eye on ebay, craigslist, and rx7 forums for any of the parts.

On the bright side, you had comprehensive insurance. I would keep negotiating with your insurance company. Do not settle until you get what is right, or as close to it as possible. You can even consult an insurance specific lawyer.

Once you DO settle, time to buy another one.

Civics are a lot easier to move, especially in parts. There are so many of them that a few parts turning up on the market doesn't attract any attention. Seems stupid to me to steal an fd. Hope you find the car dude. I really do hate thieves.

I bought it in Alabama. I guess that is a possibility as on the bill of sale I had to put my new address. There was also a Hide-a-key that a previous owner would have known about. I did not even think of that.

I have had many nightmares about my Rex being stolen, only to find it still there. In fact, I now must drive by the body shop it's at to make sure it's still ok.....

I should have ran outside. I probably had a couple too many drinks.

I did have full coverage on it, but with custom vehicles, insurance can get rather tricky especially since I don't have receipts.

Here are some more pictures the rims in the Atlanta pictures (silver) were no on it at the time.

That's unfortunate, it looks like you live in a pretty nice area. I guess everyone needs to look out for an RX6 turbo kit for sale...

Yeah right. When my subdivision was new, we had a break-in and my new plasma and LCD got stolen. The ATL cops were the worst. It took me months to get my police report as they had lost it and the detective assigned to my case was reassigned to another department and I could not get ahold of him.

I can't believe people these days. Good wholesome hard working people get screwed like this every single day. Take this for example you buy your car and spend YOUR OWN money on it, therefore it means a lot to you already just by doing that. Then you start adding small things to it (more of your money into it, therefore more love towards it). Then some little rat bastard, decides hey, screw this guy and his nice stuff, how about I steal it for whatever apparent reason. Burns me up I tell yah. I'm really sorry to hear about what happened man, hope everything turns out okay though.

Dam it, I have been bouncing between rage and depression all day. I feel like going out and looking for it, but I don't know what I will do if I find it in a ditch somewhere and no ones *** to kick.

I guess i will be keeping the Miata for now as I love that little thing, but I was going to sell it in order to afford the FD.

Dam, this is almost as bad as the time I was stuck in Saudi on an extended tour and my ex cheated on and left me. It is that same feeling of rage and helplessness all bundled into one.

I'm off Camp Creek Parkway on the southwest side. I have never heard of cars getting stolen in this area, that why I think it was either the former owner or some kids.

That picture of the engine bay was taken when I first bought the car, it is cleaner now. I do love that turbo though. I already miss it.
