Are my injectors going bad?

Most of the times if i switch into a gear fast and slam the gas the car seems to bog a little, and then start picking up ( no, no turbo lag). If I ease on the gas instead it will seem to go faster.

How many miles on your spark plugs? How many miles on your fuel filter.. Ok last tune up?

Well , I got the car a few months ago , and the plugs were changed to NGK's right before i got it. Dont know about the fuel filter, might have to check that.

Exactly what 88gt told you... Also an air leak in the intake system could also cause such action. I don't know how much similiar a Mass Air flow sensor is to the Map sensor(rx7), but on another car of mine. I had similiar experiences turned out the MAF needed cleaning. And yes, dirty injectors could possibly be a problem as well.

Side note:
stock 3rd gen injectors are more likely to leak before they gum up and hinder flow.

i would look into the tps/dbl throttle controll. does the car make boost and just not go? you are sure the clutch is not slip[ping right? i am assuming that if you down shift it , over 3,000 rpm , it will get boost? but just bog?

mad 7tist- the clutch is not slipping for sure.

Car is making good boost . Let me tell you I have midpipe on a stock ecu ( yea yea yea... i know its bad ). Car does have fuel cut so i never go over 5k rpms. Dont think that has anything to do with it...

I am going to check the fuel filter and injectors, thanks.
