If you look at it for 1/4 mile time then in my opinion the fastest fd would be the most powerful if you ask me and then that title would belong to Ari Yallon at Rotary Performance. But Ive never seen a dyno sheet for their drag car. But thats all it is, its strictly a drag car so if you are discussing streetable then I have no idea. But Ari runs low 9's.

Ari ran a 10.6 with his passenger door partially open and a wet track That was cool. Too bad the show got rained out.

Most powerful FD.... do you want to include 20B setups? One of the fastest if not the fastest drag car would be Siguel(sp). Just broke into the 6's.

One of the australian rotary workshops (name escapes me at the moment) has a 9 second (high 8??) 13b 3rd gen drag car. Owner also has a street car (FD 13b, to4 hybrid) that he claims would comfortably run 10s. He certainly has the experience (and a former world record) to back that up.

Never been on the strip though (AFAIK), so I guess it has to go on the pile with the rest of the 'claims'

My friend up here (colorado altitude) just broke into the 11's with non-sequential stock twins, and he drives it to work every day. I dont think a 10 second daily is that outragous. People just think when they hit 12's or 11's its cooler it tow it to the track.

i break too many trannies. towing the car to the track is so much easier when you break expensive driveline parts often

Steve recently ran a 6.49@113 in the 1/8th up in Denton. I just drove it on the street the other day. It's potentially a daily driver if we wanted to use c16 by the 55-gallon drum

Sure. It's not just that, though. Many guys with 10 second cars (except for Dom, of course ) are running diffs and trannies that make their cars almost unstreetable. Also, the bridgeport is an attention getter on the street......cops find it very interesting

Ernie T. His car is streetable. Runs 10's. Ray's car @ PFS was in the 9's and streetable (I think)

For like the fastest ones over all. I would say for streetable type would be Ari. Then the fastest one Ive seen even though it's a drag car is Ables. He did a 7 flat last time I saw him run.
