Dealer part availability
Hi,
I'm looking for a 3rd gen and I was wondering if the dealer is still comitted to selling non-engine related parts for this car - misc interior parts, suspension etc. because I had a 91 Supra and they had already phased out some parts 5 years ago.
Also, I saw where someone said a 6 foot tall person won't be comfortable in a 3rd gen. I'm about 6'1" and I have found that the size of the car does not matter much it's how far the seat goes back. I should be OK right? I mean I'm not expecting it to be like first class on the Concord!
Thanks

AFAIK, Mazda is still selling all the interior parts, with the exception of floor mats (which is probably one of the things that most people need to replace by now...). Of course, they charge horrendous prices for everything. I believe they are only obligated to sell parts for 2 more years? However, almost all the hardware of the car will be available a long time as Mazda just stopped producing the cars in Japan last year.
BTW, there's a lot of FD's in your neck of the woods, you should come to a get-together. Check out the West forum...
