I was actually surprised it ran so well considering its running 2000cc primaries. I just did a -50% fuel trim as a random guess and it was pretty damn close.

How did you figure out that the oiler cooler was clogged? LOL that would of been my last guess! Good work nonetheless. I am moving to the east coast this august for school, wish DGRR was around then so I could see all this.

So is this a common issue with LS swaps? Did a search and there is a bunch of info on this.

Basically it went like this...

- no oil pressure
- scratch head
- pull turbo feed
- crank, no oil, scratch head
- remove filter, oil is there
- scratch head and stress thinking its a fuckup in the engine
- quite a bit of stressing
- remove filter
- crank, hmm no oil
- pull front cover oil line off and crank, BAM oil everywhere
- de-stress and take a break
- bypass coolers and engine has immediate 100 PSI oil pressure
- pull lines and coolers off and clean them
- find this in the coolers after replacing the clogged line and still being clogged (it was wedged in the 135 degree fitting, the MOCAL thermostat that I had with the 13b came apart for some reason ...

I'll be up there for the PCA 3-day - so I just figured on making it a 4-day! (although I may ba a little Tracked-Out by that point). If I have a running FD I'll bring it, otherwise I'll have the FC already up there.

Yup. Its a anti theft feature that GM had. A simple flash of the PCM and it will fire right up.

Add your name to the list

2 more to go and we'll all have a full day of track time on a super fun course

With 3 instructors on the list we should be able to accommodate one green driver? Pat and Pete what do you think?

Who cares about a dyno I'll bring my old dyno sheet and Pete should of just dynoed his car and I'm sure everyone else has a fairly recent dyno.

Its the vehical anti theift system with the GM ECM that needs to be turned off. Its the typical mess the tunner did not do what I asked. Nothing that cant be fixed I just need to get the software and the computer in my hands to do it.

Any updates on what will be happening that day? Did you guys decide if you are doing a half or full day rental yet? Bump me from a half day to full day if that is all it takes to sway things that way!

Should have an update early next week on finalized plans. Gordon is working with Fritz to determine the number of track participants and then if we have enough for a full day. Gordon has paid for the 1/2 day VIR track reservation and to go to a full day adds on about $3,000. So at $200 per person, we'd need a total of 15 people signed up for the full day to defray the extra cost.

Going to be a good time

I want to donate $25 towards the cost, but seemed to miss who/where to send it.
