Microtech users (how to did you make gauge cluster work)

I realize that when installing the Microtech standalone ECU that is has its own harness but how do you make your gauge cluster work if the yellow plugs that used to go to the stock ECU are disconnected????
Any 3rd Gen owners run into the same problem and how did you fix it please any info would be appreciated.

I have the LTX-8 unit with a T-78 single kit. The car starts and runs perfect but no reading on the cluster exept when connected to the laptop.

Thanks

you need to connect one wire to get the rpm to work, the rest should work just fine, other then water temp

I already posted on the microtech section, I heard that the RPM gauge would only need to wired but none of mine work at all exept for fuel.

Anybody know where the stock oil pressure, and coolant temperature guages are wired to? Do they wire directly from the oil pressure sending unit and coolant sensor (located underneath oil filter on side of block)? I am thinking about installing aftermarket gauges instead if I can get stock ones to work, which do I get I electrical or mechanical?
I really need help please, Anybody have any info or feedback would be appreciated.

I had the same problem when I installed it. You probably didn't reconnect a ground on the stock harness for the cluster.... That's what I did and it fixed the issue.

like Broken09 said, you probably didnt reconnect the ground also there are 3 holes when you take the dash apart behind the rpm gauge that you have to screw one in and connect to the I believe it is the gray/blue wire on the microtech I will check when i can and let you know or pm me.as for the oil and water temp I never got the oil pressure to ever work correctly it would when it wanted to.

Oil pressure will continue to work as long as you reconnected the sensor on the block. To get the water temp to work you just splice the wire on the stock harness at the stock ecu connector. Worked fine for me. Same for the Tach signal. Trace the stock tach signal wire to the stock ecu connections and splice into it with the microtech tach output.
