manual boost controller FAQ?

Anyone have a link to a site that explains how to make a manual boost controller and how to install it? I'm trying to keep boost down since an exhaust installation. This is for a stock twin setup on a 93.

Do not install the prespool controller. It really messes things up.

Got it installed today and it works flawlessley. set for 10psi and it spikes to 12 when the second turbo comes online and at upshifts (auto). Wasn't too bad at all. running much, much better now.

did you get a ball and spring type or just a bleader valve? i have had both and i personnaly like the ball and spring type 10-8-10psi boost pattern with dp+mp+catback+intake+intercooler is not that bad

I looked for a ball and spring type valve but i'm in a small town and the Ace hardware just had a needle valve. Seems to be working great though. Just used fuel hose for the line.

Did you actually notice a more solid (no spikes) boost pattern with the ball/spring type? If so, what were you getting with the bleeder valve?
