LOL

I remember when I installed my Blitz cat back in my bone stock 3rd gen in Fl. I was like DAMN!

Boy, that only lasted about a month, then was downpipe, then midpipe, then i needed more fuel, more fuel was added but then i wanted cooler air, intercooler time! And that is how it started!!!

this is what happened to me:

low boost
got downpipe - made more power but it made my car sounded like a vacuum on steroid
got catback - made even more power but fuel cut
got power fc and boost controller - cured the fuel cut, made my car a lot smoother, but eventually clogged my maincat since my the pfc map made my car run rich
got midpipe - damn! Best bang for the buck! Now I need a intercooler to be able to run higher boost, gotta save up...

Don't you guys realize that it will never stop at just an exhaust. My first mods were a dp, catback, RB air inlet with K/N filter, and an ACT clutch/#9.5 flywheel. This added about 40-50 hp and I was tearing up the streets. But then you get that need.......need for speed. I'm almost jealous to be back where some of you guys are just getting your RX7 and making a mod list. Lots of fun but the car can be annoying at times - especially the stock sequential turbo system. Have fun!

Modding your cars is a fucken waste of money

If you are "addicted" to speed (you probably should get a life), then buy a racing kart and join a racing league

The streets are not for racing. They are for getting to point A to point B, and doing so by adhreaing to all traffic rules and regulations...There is a reason we have speed limits, and I think even a stock RX7 is capable of reaching 55mph

You're welcome

oh yeah i can't wait......

about 2 weeks ago, after looking for a 3rd gen for quite some time, i was just fed up and stressed so i JUST WANTED AN FD......i found a VR 93 Touring with like 52k auto, parents co-signed, had the check, buying plane tickets, daddy-o decides they're not co-signing anymore, says he doesn't like the idea that it's not a local car from a local dealer, so i'm just ...... now i realize that was just god stepping in and working his mojo..... daddy's gonna be pissed when he finds out....

My take on modding a car...

...Started out with HKS intakes, Front pipe/Midpipe, Greddy Catback, MazdaSpeed PowerPlant Frame, Bigger tires out back, OS Giken Twinplate Clutch, Power FC, HKS twinpower, FEED FMIC, Non-Sequential twins, ND fuel pump, BIG *** INJECTORS, ALL emissions and comfort control i.e. P/S and A/C GONE...

...that was within the first 6 months...

This is a prime example of Democratic brain washing. Yea dude we have a 55 mph speed limit for safety reasons. It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that it is most states #1 way to generate revenue.

I hope you were joking in your post because you sound like a
I agree there public roads with traffic are not a good place to lay down on the throttle. But when there is no traffic or I'm on a country road. I'm ******* flying as fast as I can go.
Don't be such a girl....I hope you drive a Yugo. Sounds like that is all you need.

I made a mod list too. I don't even own an RX-7 yet. I'm getting very close to it though.

ive had mine for about 7-8 months and ive driven it for about 4 months accumilatively (sp?)!!!!!!!!!!!! BE WISE WITH YOUR MODS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! save up money and do them in groups. . . separate the groups by their likenesses. i.e. when first bought mine i replaced the vacuum hoses witha hose techniques kit. . . now under a year later. . . im going single turbo. money wasted- 160.00 (and a hell of a back ache). if you are replacing the hoses you should: upgrade and clean your injectors and your fuel pump, replace the fuel pulstation damper, install an ignition box (if wanted), take out the secondary throttle blades, replace the plug wires (if needed), eliminate your emissions and install block-off plates, and other things that might be able to be done under the UIM. this is all in my opinion BTW. just do what ever it takes to keep your car on the road as much as possible, make it easier on yourself, and save yourself some money. oh, and if youre gonna do all that stuff up there you gotta have an aftermarket ecu to support it!!!!!!!! hehe. so just save up some cash and do it all at once. IMO
