Which catback is better? I'm trying to quiet down my single turbo car but don't want to restrict it too much. I already have a resonated midpipe.

 

I use the Greddy SP and love it. Nice deep tone. Works well with a single turbo.

I am not a fan of the evinrude outboard sound, i have the racing beat dual, with midpipe, was too loud for my liking. So i added an edelbrock rpm muffler on my midpipe. Sounds so much better, alot smoother without the choppy boat sound..

So I take it your catback is toast then?

Also, did you ever talk to Dave about that smoke I saw coming from your muffler? Has it happened since?

I'm going there Tuesday and will have Dave check everything out. As I remember the smoke was grayish, so that would be fuel. Yea the catback is done. When I picked it up and shook it I could here it rattling inside. I'm probably going to go with a new sp at this point.

 

Does anyone have sounds of some diff. exhausts?

 

i run dp with resonated mp and RB duals... very discreet cruising until WOT...some of the ne forum members can substantiate my claim..
ask the big list ihor...i seem to recall someone having done some catback dyno testing to come up with a difference in hp that is not substantial....
