he is good with the polishing wheel

David fabbed up my custom stock y pipe with the blow off valve port removed, porting, and a flanged cross-over pipe connection with hex screws (all polished of course) that clears the strut bar, if I had one....it probably out-flows the efini and looks better to boot

then I just purchased a aluminum 90 degree pipe from Burn's and cut to fit (also polished)

med and large have the same problem. You'd have to deep six the crossover pipe, and cut off the flange on the y-pipe itself, sand it down, roll a bead onto it, then you can use a coupler and mate it to the ic hot side pipe provided by asp/m2. if you're running BNRs, you will need the y-pipe to be modded (basically lengthened) to accomodate the longer CHRAs. Based on my conversations with bryan, with the BNRs at least we concluded it probably wasn't worth all the effort----the restriction in the system is on the exhaust side, in the turbo manifold itself.

My thoughts exactly. I was looking into trying to make my Efini Y-pipe work, but after some examination of the work involved and the fact that it probably wouldn't make a measurable difference with the stock twins exhaust manifold restriction, I'm just going to go ahead with the stock Y-pipe installation.

Mr. Bryan needs to develop a custom manifold/twin-set-up that blows the stocker off the table

I'm sure it's possible....

Red face

gentleman, thanks...
I guess I'll stop the order for the Efini Y... I plan to upgrade turbos, rebuild, and same time new paint... eventually.
For now, I'll just leave the Y as it is.
