Loud squeal by Turbos when on Partial Throttle
Hey everyone,
Like the title states - I've been having this very annoying loud squeal since I got it back from the mechanic. See list below as to what they did, just wondering if this is something you have seen before and if it's something I could try to fix myself.
New Fuel Pump
New Primary & Secondary injectors
All new silicone vacuum lines
Bled brakes & clutch
New Ohlins suspension
Please see the attached video - the sound is super loud and appears to be coming from near the turbos. Everything is essentially stock on the car. ~45k miles RHD, Koyo radiator, and just some replaced stock parts like mentioned above.
Edit to add - it only happens once everything is fully warmed up. Temps normally sit between 190-210 depending if I'm moving or not.

Thanks!

I'd check the couplers. Sometimes they'll have a hairline crack so small that it's nearly invisible until it's holding pressure. Then it'll leak and make a sound just like that.
An easy way to check is to put a little water on each coupler and look for bubbles when you(r friend) gives it some gas.

It seems when I take it out in the cool mornings it doesn't get a chance to start squealing. I noticed that I don't have full 10lbs of boost when the second turbo kicks in. Does that seem related like whatever is cracked is the source of the noise and boost leak? I get 10lbs on the first turbo, then dips, then settles around only 5lbs on second turbo.. Sometimes its a bit higher, kind of random and doesn't matter if fully hot or just warmed up.. Squeal or no squeal i never make a full 10lbs on 2nd turbo.
Also to confirm my searching it's supposed to be 10lbs - 8lbs @ 4500 - then full 10lbs to redline?
Thanks
